Triple Threat - 3v3 Draft League
When does Triple Threat tip off?
Lottery wrapped Saturday June 6 at 8:30 PM EDT (pick order locked worst-to-first). Draft Night Friday June 12 at 8 PM EDT (live snake draft, owners on the clock). Season opener Saturday June 13 at 7:30 PM EDT. Bo5 regular season, Bo7 Finals.
What is the format?
3v3 Pro-Am, first to 21. 16 franchises split 8 East / 8 West. Players sign up solo for the draft pool, then Draft Night fills each franchise's 5-man roster live. Bo5 series in the regular season, Bo7 Finals.
What does it cost to enter?
$20 per Player to enter the draft pool. One flat fee, no add-ons, no membership required. 100% of entry fees feed the player-funded prize pool - Check Up takes zero. Top 2 teams paid per rulebook v1.3 - champion 70%, runner-up 30%.
What do I get for $20?
Your spot in the draft pool, a Player profile with verified box-score tracking, a shareable Player Card, and a roster slot on one of 16 franchises after Draft Night (Fri Jun 12 · 8 PM EDT). If your team wins the Bo7 Finals, you split the prize pool with your roster. Membership is not required and 100% of the $20 goes to the player-funded prize pool.
How does payment work?
Checkout runs on Whop's hosted page - card or Apple Pay, never touches our servers. After payment you're in the draft pool instantly. Payouts go the other direction through Trolley, which routes prize money to the PayPal email you set in /p/settings. Two processors, two roles - see /help/payouts for the full flow.
Is this real money?
Yes. Entries are real cash via Whop hosted checkout. Prizes are real cash paid by Service Plug Events LLC through Trolley to your PayPal account, with a 1099-MISC issued if your annual winnings cross $600. There is no in-app currency, no gems, no Robux - the prize pool is the entry fees collected and paid out to winning teams.
Do I need a team to sign up?
No. Triple Threat is a draft league - sign up solo as a Player and get drafted onto one of 16 franchises on Draft Night.
What if my team doesn't win?
Entry fees feed the prize pool - only winning teams take a payout. There are no refunds for non-winning entries. If the league is cancelled before the first regular-season match, every entry is refunded.

What is Check Up?
Check Up is a competitive NBA 2K26 league platform operated by Service Plug Events LLC, powered by ModernGrindTech. Season 1 is Triple Threat - a 3v3 Draft League with 16 franchises. Every stat is verified through OCR screenshot analysis. Every match is tracked. Automation enforces the rules so nobody cries bias.
How do I sign up?
Hit the Join button, link your Discord or Google account, verify your Xbox or PlayStation console, pick your positions, and you are in. The whole signup takes about 3 minutes. Account creation is free.
Is it free to play?
Creating a player profile, getting verified, and using the platform tools is free. League entry is pay-to-enter: $20 per Player to join the draft pool. 100% of every entry fee goes to the prize pool - Check Up takes zero cut.
What platforms do you support?
Xbox and PlayStation. PC players can create accounts and use the platform tools but competitive matches are console-only.

What's after Triple Threat Season 1?
Starting Five - the 5v5 BYOT tournament - returns as a recurring tournament series once the 3v3 Draft League season is underway. Then The Arena (daily cash events), Stage (ante-up wager brackets), and the BYOT 3v3 format. Each format keeps the same 100%-of-entries-to-the-pool model.
What is Draft Night?
Fri Jun 12 at 8 PM EDT (rescheduled from Sun Jun 7 after the cascade). Players in the draft pool wait, Owners pick live in snake order (lottery wrapped Sat Jun 6, pick order locked). 2-minute pick clock. After the draft, your team plays a full season together - Bo5 series.
Competition
How are stats tracked?
After each match, upload a screenshot of the box score. Our OCR (AI vision) reads the stats automatically. Both teams confirm the result, then it is verified and counts toward your record.
What is MMR?
Matchmaking Rating. An Elo-based number that goes up when you win and down when you lose. Your MMR determines your tier (Rookie through Immortal) and seeds you in future ranked events.
Where does the prize money come from?
100% of entry fees go directly to the prize pool. David guarantees a $500 floor, and the pool grows to $2,000+ as teams register. Check Up takes zero cut from player entries. We sustain through optional memberships and premium features.
Anti-Cheat
How do you detect cheaters?
Shot-timing analysis for Cronus Zen scripts, connection monitoring for lag switches, stat anomaly detection for manipulation, and pattern matching for win trading. Every method is documented on our anti-cheat page.
What happens if I get flagged?
First-time anomalies get a warning. Confirmed violations lead to 7-30 day suspensions. Confirmed Cronus Zen, screenshot fraud, or repeat offenses result in permanent bans with entry fees forfeited.
Can founders override bans?
No. The enforcement covenant applies equally to all four founders. If the system flags a founder, the same process runs. Nobody is above the code.
