Every player who paid into the draft but wasn't selected in the 5-round draft automatically lands on the free-agency wire. Each of the 16 franchises fills its 6th and final roster spot from this pool. Coaches file a claim on the player they want; claims resolve by waiver priority (reverse draft order) 24 hours after a player hits the wire.
Nothing to pay and nothing to re-sign. Your card is already live on the wire with your pre-draft analyst ranking, build, and tier. Coaches browse the board and claim you for their open spot. Keep your gamertag, positions, and Discord linked in settings so coaches can scout and message you.
Open the Waiver Wire, find the player you want, and file a claim. If multiple teams claim the same player, the team with the best waiver priority (reverse draft order, with a rolling reset) wins. Winning a claim sends you to the back of the priority line, so the worst-record teams get first crack at the best available.
Waiver priority is the order teams get to win contested claims — it starts as the reverse of the draft order (the team that picked last gets first priority) and rolls so a team that just won a claim drops to the back of the line. It keeps free agency fair instead of first-come-first-served.
