Clip of the Night is a daily community feature where players submit their best gameplay moments and the community votes on a winner. It runs every day that verified matches are played and resets at midnight Eastern.

Submitting a clip is simple. Go to the Clips page, hit Submit, and upload a video clip or paste a link from YouTube, Twitch, or Twitter. Clips must be from a verified Check Up match played that same day. Casual or unverified gameplay does not qualify. Each player can submit one clip per day. Keep submissions under 60 seconds. The system rejects anything longer.

Once submitted, clips enter the voting pool. Every verified player gets one vote per day. You cannot vote for your own clip. Voting opens when the first clip of the day is submitted and closes at midnight Eastern. The clip with the most votes at close wins Clip of the Night.

Ties are broken by submission time. If two clips finish with the same vote count, the one submitted earlier wins. This rewards players who get their clips in quickly rather than waiting until the last minute.

The winner receives 250 coins, 50 season XP, and a Clip of the Night badge on their profile. Winning clips are featured in the highlights feed on the site and posted to the Discord highlights channel. Players who win Clip of the Night five times in a single season earn the Highlight Reel achievement.

Staff reserves the right to remove clips that violate the code of conduct or contain content unrelated to gameplay. Clips that show exploits from the banned list are disqualified. If a winning clip is removed after the fact, the runner-up is promoted to winner and receives the full reward.

Check Up tracks win streaks and achievements as part of the player progression system. Streaks measure consecutive performance in real time. Achievements are milestone badges earned by hitting specific thresholds across your career. Both show on your public profile and contribute to your season XP total.

Win streaks are counted from verified matches only. Every consecutive win adds one to your active streak. A loss, a void, or a forfeited match resets the counter to zero. Draws do not break a streak but do not extend it either. Your current streak and your all-time longest streak are both displayed on your profile.

Streak milestones trigger at 3, 5, 10, 15, and 25 consecutive wins. Each milestone awards a one-time coin bonus and season XP. Hitting a 3-win streak earns 50 coins. A 5-win streak earns 150. A 10-win streak earns 500 coins and the Hot Hand badge. Reaching 15 earns 1,000 coins and the On Fire badge. The 25-win milestone earns 2,500 coins, the Unstoppable badge, and a shoutout in the Discord announcements channel.

Achievements cover a wider range of activities beyond just winning. They are organized into five categories: Competition (match wins, tournament placements, Draft Night participation), Social (referrals, wiki contributions, clip votes), Progression (tier promotions, season pass completions, MMR milestones), Consistency (daily login streaks, weekly match counts, season attendance), and Special (event-specific or staff-awarded badges for unique contributions).

Each achievement has a name, an icon, and a description visible on your profile. Some achievements have multiple tiers. For example, the Veteran achievement triggers at 50, 100, 250, and 500 total verified matches, with each tier upgrading the badge icon. Tiered achievements award increasing XP and coin bonuses at each level.

All achievement progress is tracked automatically. There is nothing to claim or activate. When you hit a threshold, the badge appears on your profile and the reward lands in your account. Notifications fire in the player panel and through the Discord bot so you know the moment it happens.

The Check Up referral program rewards players who bring new competitors into the league. Every verified player gets a unique referral code, visible on the Referrals page in the player panel. Share the code with friends, post it on social media, or drop it in your stream. When someone signs up using your code and completes their first verified match, both of you earn rewards.

The referrer (you) receives 500 coins and 75 XP for each successful referral. The new player gets a 250-coin welcome bonus on top of the standard signup flow. A referral only counts once the new player links their gamertag and finishes a verified match. Just creating an account is not enough. This keeps the system honest and ensures that referrals bring in players who actually compete.

There is no cap on how many players you can refer. Ten referrals earn you 5,000 coins and 750 XP. Fifty referrals earn you 25,000 coins and 3,750 XP. The math scales linearly, so the more people you bring in, the more you earn. Referral rewards are credited immediately when the new player's first match verifies.

The referral leaderboard ranks players by total successful referrals over the current season. It is visible on the public Referrals page and updates in real time. The leaderboard resets each season, but your lifetime referral count stays on your profile permanently. Finishing in the top ten on the referral leaderboard at season end earns a bonus reward and recognition in the Discord announcements channel.

Top recruiters unlock Founder perks. Players who refer 25 or more verified competitors in a single season earn the Founder badge, a permanent profile marker that signals you helped build the community. Founders also receive priority access to beta features, an exclusive Discord role, and early invites to special events. The Founder badge does not expire. Once you earn it, it stays on your profile across all future seasons.

Referral codes are tied to your account and do not change between seasons. You can find yours on the Referrals page or by asking the Discord bot. If someone forgets to use your code at signup, staff cannot retroactively apply it. Make sure your referrals enter the code during registration.

The Check Up wiki is built by the community, not just staff. Any verified player can submit new articles, suggest edits to existing ones, and help keep information current. Contributing to the wiki earns you XP, coins, and progress toward the Architect badge.

To contribute, navigate to any wiki article and look for the Edit or Suggest button. Staff-only sections (Rules and Integrity, League Operations, History and Records) are locked to staff writers. Everything else is open to verified players. When you submit an edit, it goes into a review queue where a staff member or senior contributor checks it for accuracy, tone, and formatting before it goes live.

Each approved contribution earns 100 XP. That is the same amount you get for winning a verified match, so wiki work is a real path to season pass progress if you prefer writing over playing. Coins are awarded alongside XP at a rate of 50 coins per approved contribution. Rejected submissions do not earn anything, but you can revise and resubmit.

The Architect badge unlocks at 5 approved contributions. It is a permanent profile badge that signals you helped build the knowledge base. Architects get a dedicated Discord role, access to the wiki contributors channel, and priority review on future submissions. The badge does not expire, and the contribution count is cumulative across seasons.

Quality matters more than volume. Contributions should be factual, written in plain language, and focused on information that helps other players. Do not pad articles with filler to hit a word count. Do not copy content from other sites. Do not insert promotional links or references to outside services. Staff flags and removes low-effort submissions, and repeated low-quality contributions can result in a temporary write restriction.

Articles that go six months without an update are flagged as stale. The wiki dashboard shows which articles need a refresh. Updating a stale article counts as a new contribution for XP and badge purposes. Keeping existing articles current is just as valuable as writing new ones. If you spot outdated information while reading the wiki, submit a correction. That is exactly how the system is supposed to work.
